Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions people may have for Cindy, Ki Concepts, or the Ki / Martial Arts / Fitness Community.
  1. Where does the Ki energy come from?
The energy comes from our environment and surroundings, and that energy is pulled in through the Ki User and into the patient or karate opponent.
  2. Does Ki work on/with everybody?
Some people feel Ki differently and to a greater extent than others; Healing and its meanings are as varied as individuals themselves.
  3. What does a Ki Treatment session consist of?
The client will sit or lay on a mat and the Ki user will gently place their hands on the client where energy levels are lower, sending positive energy and warmth to the client.
  4. Can you work on two people at once for a Ki Treatment? Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely. There are two Ki mats set up next to each other, and the Ki user can go between two different people in one session.
  5. I am a beginning student wanting to learn Martial Arts. Should I learn Tang Soo Do or Aikido?
Both martial art styles are equally difficult and can be learned by someone with no experience, however Aikido is more physical, focusing on energy flow. Tang Soo Do focuses on forms.
  6. What should I wear?
For Ki Energy Sessions and Ki Class, wear something you're comfortable in! If its your first time going to a Martial Arts Class, we recommend wearing something you can move around in.
